Course Overview
This course covers using Nova-T in the production of the school timetable and explores the process from populating the module with core data (rooms, staff, and subjects) to submitting the completed timetable to SIMS and all the steps between.
The course will take approximately 18-22 hours to complete.
Course Objectives
This course will cover:
- enter and edit basic timetable data such as the cycle, teachers, rooms and subjects
- create, modify and cost a curriculum plan
- attach resources such as teachers, rooms and facilities to classes
- deal with the issue of part-time staff
- run feasibility checks on the structure
- schedule blocks and classes both manually and automatically
- room the timetable
- modify certain parameters known as tools
- generate a range of reports
- edit and print the evolving timetable
- transfer the timetable to SIMS.

How do I purchase the course?
To purchase this course via your school/organisation you can pay by invoice. Please E-mail: [email protected] specifying if you have a purchase order and which course(s) you wish to purchase. We require the name and address of the person paying for the course. If you are in a school this may be your Finance department. If you are purchasing a course for another member of staff, we will also need their name for the certificate and their email address to enroll them on the course. The student will receive an email once the course is available to access.
